Come celebrate the German spirit of Beer, Bands, and Brats at the 15th Annual Oktober BrewFest Saturday and Sunday, October 11 & 12, 2008 at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront 24th Street Park. Good food, good drink, and a variety of entertainment for the whole family. Oktober BrewFest offers the opportunity to learn about a variety of German beers from the Warsteiner Beer Company in a festive atmosphere. Warsteiner has played a significant role in establishing a reputation as “The Beer Center of The World”. Oktober BrewFest celebrates the culture of Germany and is a favorite of German beers connoisseurs worldwide!

Right before your eyes the Virginia Beach Oceanfront is transformed into a festival celebrating everything that is German…….German style food and festivities, including a Dachshund beauty pageant! Live entertainment with an authentic German oompa band called the Biermeisters is featured during the day. Oktober BrewFest switches into high gear on Saturday night with ROCKtoberfest! The ever popular band Butter will Rock the Festhous with your favorite rock music. Expect the unexpected at one of the craziest and funniest events to hit the oceanfront! Admission is free. Festival goers and step up to the “Drench a Wench” dunking booth and test their throwing skills by hitting the bull’s eye and drench the wench! Proceeds go to the Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters. Master of Ceremonies Pasquale Giovanni keeps the crowd going with Oktober BrewFest’s own Hans and Gretchen as his friendly side kicks. Pasquale’s resume includes former host of WTAR 850 AM’s Ask the Expert show and the Restaurant Show. Pasquale has been hosting and producing talk shows for over 10 years, interacting with a variety of CEO’s politicos, and people in the community. A Farm Fresh President’s Award Recipient, Pasquale excels in consumer issues, community news and interests.
